European Oscars in Warsaw, for the first time in Central and Eastern Europe

On 2nd December 2006, before the official Award Ceremony, in the "Fabryka Trzciny" Artistic Centre, the conference entitled: "Cinema of tomorrow" took place.
LIDEX provided the equipment for interpretation for 300 guests participating. The conference was honoured with the presence of such noble guests as: Wim Wenders - the President of the European Film Academy, and Jacek Bromski - the President of the Association of Polish Filmmakers, who delivered the welcoming speech.
From 25.11 till 03.12. 2006 in Lodz, at the Grand Theatre (Festival Centre) the 14th edition of the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage took place.
On the occasion of this event, LIDEX provided the necessary equipment for simultaneous interpretation for 1100 persons.
It is with great pride and joy that we can announce LIDEX has won, for the fifth time, the Investor in Human Capital emblem in the nationwide programme of the Institute of Management.
By having been awarded this honourable title in all the editions of the programme held so far, we prove how much we at LIDEX care about knowledge and skills of our employees.

WARSAW BUSINESS JOURNAL has just published the latest issue of the guide to Polish business and economy, the "Book of Lists".
The "Book of Lists" is considered to be the biggest and the most reliable and complete database on Polish business available in English.
The annual ranking of Warsaw translation agencies opens with LIDEX taking the first place for the fourth time in a row.
We owe this success not only to our work; our Clients, Translators and Collaborators contributed to it as well.

Hardly a dozen days has passed since signing the cooperation agreement with the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and we already scored another success.
As the result of a recent tender procedure LIDEX, the winner, will be providing translation and interpreting services for the National School of Public Administration.
In the scope of the agreement concluded we will be doing translations from English, French and German on the subjects of European integration, as well as law and administration.
As the result of a tender process, from March 2006 LIDEX will be providing interpreting services for the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
It is both an honor and a challenge to have an opportunity to provide language support for political events of utmost national importance.
The Chancellery can count on professional translation services as well as enormous experience and expertise of LIDEX interpreters.
What are the problems of contemporary Europe? Which countries from outside the European Union are closest to becoming Member States? Answers to these and other questions were sought by the representatives of intellectual and political elites from Poland and abroad during the conference "The Frontiers of Europe" organized by Axel Springer Polska and the Club of Three.
It was the 9th in the series of meetings and it took place on 3 and 4 February at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
Danuta Hübner, Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz, Stefan Meller, Radoslaw Sikorski, and many other members of European intellectual and political circles honored the meeting with their presence.
Professional support from LIDEX turned out to be indispensable: the Graphics Studio prepared the information boards and ID tags and the Conference Department took care of the arrangement of the conference room, the sound systems and the conference/interpreting systems.
We are proud that LIDEX participates in events of this rank - this way we make our own contribution to creating the history of Europe.
Christmas meeting
As a partner of the Royal Castle we had the distinct honor to participate in the Christmas meeting hosted by the Castle's director, professor Andrzej Rottermund. Benefactors, friends and sponsors of the Castle all met at the former seat of Polish kings. LIDEX prepared a multimedia presentation on the Castle's activities - summary of the year 2005 and plans for 2006. After the concert of Christmas carols performed by the Warsaw Archsee Choir we shared the Christmas wafer with everyone and wished each other a Happy New Year.
