Cookies: what they are...

Cookies are small text files (usually not more than a few kilobytes in size) generated by websites and stored on the user’s computer.

...and what they aren’t

Cookies are not computer viruses – they are not capable of carrying executable code which could later be executed on the user’s computer. Cookies are not used to collect personal data from users.
Cookies do not cause any changes in the computer’s configuration or installed software.

Does LIDEX use cookies on its website?

Yes. LIDEX uses cookies on its website in order to ensure that the site is displayed correctly, to enable the optimum matching of the contents displayed as well as in order to maintain the session of a logged-in user and for statistical purposes – to improve and adjust the format of the pages displayed (Google Inc. cookies).

What to do if I do not want any cookies to be stored on my computer?

Cookies may only be stored on the user’s computer when the user so agrees. If the user objects to cookies being stored on his or her computer, he or she must change browser settings.
