Book Of Lists is a Polish business and economy guide in which business leader rankings are presented divided into categories.
We are proud that since 2003 year already LIDEX Translation Office has been an undisputed leader of this ranking. In the category of translation agencies, we were ranked first in the years 2003–2008, and in subsequent editions we were awarded the honourable second place, which confirms our position as the leader among companies based on Polish capital.
The most recent, twenty-first edition of the Book of Lists reassures us that customers eagerly use our services and rate them very high.
We would like to thank you for your trust. We are happy that our broad offer of written translations, simultaneous interpreting, and conference services, along with professional technical solutions, fulfils your high expectations.
We have the pleasure to inform that the website of LIDEX was awarded
the 1st place in the contest the Website Without Barriers,
in the category of Non-public Websites, as a www service comprising more than 100 subpages.
The contest was organised by the Widzialni Foundation together with the Broad Accord for Digital Skills.
We are glad that the work to enhance our portal has been noticed and we hope that it is - and will be - of great use for all our visitors. We are grateful for receiving this very distinction.
Last week, the Katowice Branch Office of the LIDEX Translation Centre once again ensured simultaneous interpretation underground!
The event was held in the Silesian Museum in Katowice, and one of the main attractions was the first multimedia presentation in 3D. All participants were provided with special glasses and were taken from the underground into deep space.
On 24–26 January 2016 in Łódź, the 9th Europe – Ukraine Forum was held. It was the second
meeting of policy makers and business representatives from the countries of Eastern Europe,
the European Union, and the USA, held in Łódź.
The topics of high significance discussed on the Forum included decentralisation of state authority and building modern self-government structures and civil society. The event was organised by the Eastern Studies Institute Foundation, and the Łodź Branch Office of LIDEX had the pleasure to provide interpreting and technical services during the Forum.
This is the first news in the New Year, and we present some statistics for the past 365 days.
In 2015, we translated more than 220 thousand pages within various language combinations for our clients, with translations from English into Polish and vice versa being the most popular among them. We also noticed an increase in foreign-to-foreign translations. We received more queries relating to Chinese, Norwegian, and Swedish language. Also more extraordinary languages, such as Amharic and Swahili, were present.
Moreover, LIDEX Congresses & Events organised nearly 400 conferences during which we ensured simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, voting systems, and visual and multimedia solutions.
